People who are severely isolated, threat-sensitized, clinically unstable, coerced, or compulsively self-checking should not be asked to self-triage or self-grade the sentence. A safe holder should receive the person and the sentence first. Then the holder can decide whether the next step is care, teacher guidance, community connection, ordinary rest, clinical support, or doctrine testing.
